So spring is here! And the weather could not be more nice.
I for one love to update my home and wardrobe with each changing season. Here are some easy and fun updates for spring!
1. Fresh flowers and plants.
This is of course a no-brainer. There is nothing more spring than flowers. I found these at Trader Joe’s and all were under $5.
I also recommend changing out your sent oils for flower/spring scents. Spring is a sensory season so make it smell like spring and you’ll feel better already!
2. Umbrella stand.
This is practical, but there is no reason it can’t also be cute! April showers bring May flowers and we all know that you don’t want to be caught out in the rain unprepared. This will add a touch of spring to your apartment while also keeping you dry!
3. Spring colors!
Put away the thick, dark winter blankets and brighten up your room with light colors. I prefer to do an all white duvet cover with bright pillows and a throw at the end.
This is a great spring bed look that is light enough to keep on your bed through fall.
Find it here.
4. Make your patio comfy!
So spring and fall are in some places the only times hospitable enough to enjoy outdoor living. Spruce up your outdoor space by hanging some lights on the balcony, adding some potted plants, or adding chairs and tables if you don’t already have some.
