As a lover of movies and fashion I live for those times where the fashion/movie gods smile upon us all in a synergistic explosion of star quality and style that transcends fashion and film.
Here are my picks for the greatest fashion moments in film.
1. The black Givenchy dress Audrey Hepburn wore in the first scene of Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
This is probably the most overdone dress of all time, which to me is baffling to me. Why would you ever try to replicate something that was perfection? You are never going to be as good as the original so stop trying.
2. The dress Kate Winslet wore in the dinner scene from Titanic.
How can anyone forget when Kate Winslet comes down the grand staircase in that dress and Jack (Leo <3) kisses her hand? SWOON.
3. The red dress and white gloves worn by Julia Roberts in Pretty Women.
That dress, those gloves, that hair, and her laugh… she was worth every penny.
