We are right in the thick of summer and it’s hot! I don’t know about you, but I am just about ready for fall!
Since we still have a long way to go before the summer ends, I thought I would share a few of my favorite summer products.
1. Pecksniff’s England Candle
I absolutely love the ginger flower scent of this Pecksniff’s candle. It has a light and airy scent that is perfect for summer. I love lighting one when I am sitting at my desk at night with a cup of tea. It helps me unwind and relax. Find them at TJ Maxx for about $7 bucks.
2. Tree Hut Olive and Shea Sugar Body Scrub
I am obsessed with this scrub. Now fair warning, it is very gritty. It feels almost like sand, but I love it for my skin. Especially in the summer when my skin gets dry from air conditioning and the heat, this exfoliates the top layer and makes my skin so soft! It also smells AMAZING. Treat yourself to this for only $7 at Target.
3. St. Ives Hydrating Mist
This product is amazing! I bring it to the beach with me and I love to mist myself after I have already applied sunblock. The citrus scent is so fresh and summery. I also mist myself after I use my sugar scrub because it’s very important to moisturize after you exfoliate. I spray this on before bed. Find it for about $6 at Target.
4. Freeman Charcoal and Black Sugar Polishing Mask
I love treating myself to these sample masks from Walmart. I loved this mask enough to order the full size from Freeman Beauty. It is better than a much more expensive charcoal scrub I used prior. I put it on, allow it to warm up, leave it on for about 7 minutes and then rub it in and wash it off. It removes all the gunk and blackheads and leaves my skin feeling brand new.
5. Clinique Moisture Surge
Just like with my body scrub, I like to use an intense moisturizer following an exfoliator scrub. This one gives my skin a nice drink of moisture. It also gives my skin a dewy summer glow. I love it so much. Find it at most department stores for around $19.99.
