My Current Obsessions

Spring has officially sprung and that means life is renewed everywhere! I can’t say it has been a long, cold winter here in sunny California but I can say I am still pretty excited for a change in seasons. Spring means renewal to me. Overhauling the wardrobe, deep cleaning and organizing and of course I’m also wedding planning like crazy. Here are the things that I am currently loving and lusting after!

1. Masala Chai Tea

I LOVE tea. and I especially love the spicy masala chai tea from my favorite tea house in SF called Samovar. It has the perfect hint of spicy and cream and goes down so smooth! It also pairs so well their smoked salmon quiche. Yum!

2. Fabletics

I just  joined Fabletics and recently received my first outfit! The quality is amazing and the price point is unmatched. I love that the pants have a hidden pocket so that I can keep my key safe while I’m running. The styles are also so cute! This is the outfit I bought and I think it is cute enough to wear from day to night. My only bit of warning is the sizes run very small ladies. According to their size chart I wear an XXS but it was sooo tight I had to exchange it.

3. Easy Carrot Salad

My sister introduced me to this health book called “Stop PMS Now” and it descries how the estrogen our bodies can’t break down gets trapped in our system and can cause all sorts of health problems. But eating the right things helps to break it down. One easy way to do it is this simple salad of shredded carrots, 1 tablesoon of coconut oil and one tablespoon of unfiltered apple cider vinegar (be sure to get the one with the mother). I eat this 5 times a week and I have noticed a boost in energy and mood.

4.  New Balance Shoes

I just finally cracked and ordered the New Balance shoes I’ve been coveting! There are so many cute ways to wear them to instantly any look so chic! I can’t wait for them to arrive.

5.  Bright Pink

So pink is my favorite color but you probably wouldn’t know that from the way I dress. I don’t think it’s a chic or sophisticated color to wear. But lately I am loving this bright pink maxi dress. I wore it for our trip our to Healdsburg for our cake tasting and it was perfect later in the day when she stopped by a few wineries for tastings. It’s bright and fun and is a visual representation of how happy I feel.

6. My Wedding Planner!

My sister being the wonderful maid-of-honor that she is bought me this for my birthday and it is a lifesaver! I only have a day-of venue coordinator so I’m been doing everything myself with the help of friends and family. I have to be very organized in order to keep track of everything. I have my budget in here, what we’ve spent, info and print outs from all my vendors and this have so many helpful hints and etiquette rules. I love it so much and never leave home without it when I meet with my girls!

8. Blue Apron

I loveeee Blue Apron! Every week we get everything we need to make three yummy, healthy dinners delivered straight to our door. The recipes are based on what you like and how many you people you are feeding and they portioned out to make things so simple. I love that these allow me to experiment in the kitchen with ingredients I might not otherwise try. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies and Blue Apron has helped me along in my passion!
