1.Drink water every morning.
I’m not saying to cut out the coffee. That would be madness! But since studies show sleep dehydrates us, start with some water before reaching for the coffee. Its a great way to wake up as well.
2.Take vitamin D once a day.
There is an entire alphabet of vitamins to take and believe me, it’s impossible to take them all. But if you can only pick one, make it vitamin D. It is essential to bone health, immune health and can even make you feel happier.
3. Do some stretches.
This one is so simple, there really is no excuse not to do it. Stretching in the morning can help you wake up. It also can help relive stress and ease muscle tension.
4. Go outside.
If you sit at a desk for work all day, it’s essential to get up and start moving. Even if it’s just for ten minutes a day it will help to improve focus and relive stress to breath in some fresh air and get some sun each day.
5. Wash your sheets.
Our bed sheets trap dust mites and allergens so throw them in the wash on hot once a week kill those suckers!
6. Swap soda for sparkling water.
I used to occasionally drink soda but I’ve swapped it for La Croix and there is no turning back. La Croix has no sugar or sodium but still delivers that cold, refreshing carbonation I needed.
7. Take the stairs.
I live on the 4th floor but because my elevator takes so long I usually take the stairs. It’s an easy way to get a few extra steps counted on your FitBit!
8. Take a bath.
I’m obsessed with baths. The more stressful life gets, the more I enjoy a nice hot bath. I add essential oils and epsom detox salts to my bath to not only unwind but also detox.
9. Listen to healing music.
While at work I listen Solfeggio Healing Tones which can be found on You Tube. They come in different frequencies and do everything from heal your DNA to attract love into your life.
10. Have a banana.
Everyone is into complicated smoothies and crazy DIY home remedies. But why not start simple? Throw a banana in your bag on the way to work. It takes care of a fruit serving for the day and it’s too simple not to do it.
